Shelley Ocaña is the founding partner of Specialized Services for Law Firms. She began her fiduciary practice in 1983 while maintaining a career as a certified paralegal and judicial interpreter. As a fifth-generation Sonoma County native, Shelley’s dedication to her community precedes her reputation and expertise in the areas of care management, conservatorships, probated estates, and complex trust administration. She has served as an expert witness for fiduciary best practices and as a consultant on numerous contested legal matters.

With nearly forty years of experience, Shelley has been instrumental in shaping the standards of excellence for fiduciary services across California. She is a founding member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California and a long-time presenter for a variety of legal associations including the Redwood Empire Estate Planning Council and the Sonoma County Bar Association.
